Playing for and representing your school

  • You will build lifelong friendships through a built-in network of cohorts across all four grades. There is something great about having your whole team with you in class, the lunchroom, etc. It’s truly one of the great parts of being a high school athlete.
  • The ability to wear your school colors with pride and be a part of the winning traditions we have built is invaluable.
  • Playing for the club connects you with past Huskies, many of whom return to play in the annual Alumni Game.
  • Special events, such as Teacher Appreciation Night and puck drops for other school sports (soccer, field hockey, etc.).
  • Annual Senior Night honoring our graduating class.
  • Compete in rivalries (Lyons Township, Fenwick, etc) that exist within other sports.
  • Active presence on the web and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • The convenience of practicing and playing out of a local rink (including the dedicated team room and OPRF locker room).
  • A schedule that aligns to high school events such as Homecoming and finals.
  • Home games at Ridgeland Common so students, friends and family can watch and cheer.
