OPRF Hockey Ignition Skates and Season Tryouts mark the start of each new season. We’re building toward another strong year with a mix of returning players and new talent ready to make an impact.

With updated coaching, continued development, and momentum across the program, this is where the season starts.

Ignition Skates

Ignition Skates are designed to get players back up to speed before tryouts. Fast-paced, high-tempo sessions focused on skating, skills, conditioning, and compete level.

Come ready to move.

Details

• Two weeks of on-ice sessions leading into tryouts
• Group assignments provided prior to the first skate
• All sessions held at Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex (RCRC)

Team Tryouts

Tryouts include both on-ice evaluations and an off-ice athletic assessment. Players are expected to attend all sessions to be properly evaluated.
