2026–2027 Fall/Winter Season Information
Welcome to the 2026–2027 OPRF Hockey season! We are excited to welcome our returning Huskies and new players and families for another great season of OPRF Hockey.
This registration is for players who have been offered a roster position for the 2026–2027 Fall/Winter season. Please complete all required registration information, documents, waivers, and payments to finalize your player's registration with the Club.
Registration Requirements
All rostered players must complete the Fall/Winter Season Registration and all required documents and waivers.
As part of the registration process, families will be asked to provide required player and parent information, review and acknowledge Club policies, and select a payment option for season fees.
2026–2027 Player Requirements
In addition to completing this registration, all rostered players must complete the following requirements:
- USA Hockey Membership: All players must have a current 2026–2027 USA Hockey Membership.
- IHSA Sports Physical: All players must have a current IHSA Pre-Participation Examination (IHSA Sports Physical) on file. Completed forms should be emailed to registrar@oprfhockey.com.
- USA Hockey SafeSport Training: All 2008-2009 birth year players are required by USA Hockey to complete SafeSport Training must do so by August 31, 2026. Proof of completion should be emailed to registrar@oprfhockey.com.
Season Kickoff Weekend
The official start of the 2026–2027 OPRF Hockey season for rostered players and families is August 16.

Season Kickoff Day: Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex
- Uniform sizing & apparel fitting
- All-Club Parent meeting
- All-Club Player meeting
- Orange & Blue on ice competition
A detailed schedule will be distributed following team selection.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will roster assignments be announced?
Roster assignments will be emailed no later than 8:00 AM on Friday, August 14.
When are roster commitments due?
Players offered a roster position must accept their roster offer and complete all required season registration forms by 8:00 AM on Saturday, August 15, to secure their spot on the team.

Fall/Winter 2026-2027
The OPRF Hockey Club regular season runs from mid August through March, featuring fast-paced competition, skill development, and the camaraderie that comes with wearing Huskies BLUE and ORANGE. Teams compete in the Illinois West High School Hockey League (IWHSHL), taking on rivals from across the region in league games, tournaments, and special matchups.
Players receive high-level coaching, structured practices, and off-ice training designed to sharpen skills and build team chemistry. Beyond the ice, the season is filled with team events, community involvement, and the traditions that make OPRF Hockey a unique and unforgettable experience.
